Terms of Use

By using AstroPrecise you agree to these terms. They are written to be plain and fair. The astronomy is computed for exploration and the astrological language is offered for reflection and enjoyment, not professional advice. The £7 Your Eclipse Edition is for sale via Gumroad after free chart-contact on eclipse.html. Other planned editions remain unreleased.

Who we are

AstroPrecise is operated by Jonathan Davenport, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Gumroad is seller-of-record for the £7 Your Eclipse Edition only. Questions about anything on this page: contact@astroprecise.app.

The service

AstroPrecise currently provides free browser-based astronomical and astrological instruments, alongside the free Eclipse Field Guide and the £7 personalised Eclipse Edition, sold via Gumroad after free chart-contact on eclipse.html. Other planned editions remain unreleased and are not an offer of sale. Underneath, positions are computed from published VSOP87, ELP2000 and Meeus-based methods. Accuracy varies by body and date across the supported 1800–2200 chart range, and the output is not a navigation-grade ephemeris. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

Not professional advice. AstroPrecise is for reflection and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other advice. Decisions you make are your own responsibility. If you need help, please consult a qualified professional.

Who can buy

Buyers of the £7 Your Eclipse Edition must be 18 or over. The free tools remain available without a purchase.

How buying works

The £7 Your Eclipse Edition is sold through Gumroad after free chart-contact on eclipse.html. Gumroad shows price and tax before you pay. Birth date and time are not sent with the payment. Other planned editions are not for sale. A catalogue preview of an unreleased edition does not create an order.

Digital content & your cancellation rights

The Gumroad checkout and our refunds page state when digital delivery begins, what cancellation choice applies and how to request a remedy. Nothing in these terms reduces statutory consumer rights for content that is defective, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, generated artwork, readings, prints, and software are owned by AstroPrecise unless stated otherwise. What you buy is licensed for personal, non-commercial use — keep it, print it for yourself, share it with a friend — but no redistribution, resale, or commercial use. Underlying astronomical algorithms are public-domain science.

Acceptable use

Third-party services & affiliate links

Some features rely on third parties (place-name geocoding, Open-Meteo for sky-condition forecasts, public space-weather feeds, and Gumroad for the £7 eclipse edition only). Their availability and their own terms are outside our control; our Privacy Policy lists what each receives. Some pages also carry Amazon affiliate links: if you buy through one we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, always disclosed beside the link.

Availability & liability

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroPrecise and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, and our total liability for any claim connected with a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and nothing reduces your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Questions: contact@astroprecise.app.
