The Moon This Week
Sign-to-sign, as it happens — the Moon changes sign every two to three days.
How honest is this?
Every event above is solved numerically from the VSOP87 planetary theory and the ELP2000 lunar theory, in your browser — the week is scanned, each event bracketed, then refined by bisection. Nothing is fetched from a server; nothing about you leaves this page.
Moon-phase instants are good to a few minutes. Ingresses and stations of the outer planets ride truncated series, so they carry a ≈ mark — right to within hours, occasionally a day for Pluto. The week is anchored to the UTC Monday, so every visitor sees the same list for the same civil week; only the clock times are local. Quiet weeks are shown as quiet — the list is never padded.
